Inspiration and
dedication:
It is a love song to Life and to Music, the
latter one personified as a man.
It was inspired by the line “Every day of your life there are new
sounds” written by the Canadian composer, writer, educator, musical
pedagogue and environmentalist Raymond Murray Schafer as an autographed
dedication to Denise Richart in one of his books*. It was given to her at the
end of a master class at the National Conservatory of Music "Carlos López
Buchardo", on April 21, 1992.
