MARCELO GROSZ
OBOE
Marcelo Grosz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He finished his higher education studies, with specialization in oboe, at the National Conservatory of Music “Carlos López Buchardo” with Maestros Pedro Di Gregorio y Bruno Pizamiglio. He perfected his skills with Maestros Pedro Cocchiararo and Andrés Spiller.
He was member of the Radio Nacional Youth Orchestra and of several chamber music ensembles.
He started teaching oboe in 1978 at the National Conservatory of Music "Carlos López Buchardo" (now National University of the Arts), and since 2000 he has been working at the Buenos Aires Conservatory of Music "Astor Piazzolla".
In 1983, he won an open competition and was appointed oboe player and substitute English horn player in the National Symphonic Orchestra. With this orchestra, he has made several national and international tours in Spain, U.S.A, Canary Islands and Japan.
